libwlocate-dev software package provides Library for doing location lookup based on free openwlanmap.org data, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libwlocate-dev
libwlocate-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libwlocate-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libwlocate-dev *
You will get with libwlocate-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
